July 2, 2013.  Fairfax, VA—Watermark Risk Management International, LLC announced today the formation of their new Advisory Board, a diverse panel of six well-respected leaders who have been assembled to share their insight into risk management, security, business continuity, cybersecurity and other areas of interest to Watermark and Watermark’s clients world-wide.

Matt Braningan, President of Watermark, said, “We are eager to explore the possibilities that will result from our relationship with such a diverse and knowledgeable group of leaders in their fields. It remains a priority for Watermark to consider their wisdom and extensive experience in regards to the different sectors of our business. Watermark’s Board of Advisors is composed of the following members:

MATT DEVOST — Mr. Devost is a technologist, entrepreneur, and international security expert specializing in cybersecurity, counterterrorism, critical infrastructure protection, intelligence, and risk management issues. He is currently the President and CEO of FusionX, LLC, a global cybersecurity consulting firm. Mr. Devost helps international clientele identify and manage dynamic cyberthreats in complex operational environments.

PEG GRAYSON — Ms. Grayson has become a nationally known expert in cybersecurity, data integrity and information sharing in wired, wireless and satellite networks, and the design of secure data transport architectures in her roles as President, CEO, and CFO of various commercial and federal contracting companies. She is currently the President of MTN Government Services in Leesburg, Virginia, and CFO of the parent company, MTN.

JENNIFER L. HESTERMAN — Ms. Hesterman is an academic author, instructor, and counterterrorism expert specializing in transnational crime, domestic terror, and the exploitation of the Internet by terrorists and criminals for financing, recruitment and clandestine communication.  Ms. Hesterman is a cleared professional and one of just a handful of experts in the world on the terror-crime nexus.

RICHARD MIES, ADMIRAL (U.S. NAVY, RETIRED) — Admiral Richard Mies completed a distinguished 35-year career in the US Navy as the Commander in Chief of US Strategic Command, and is highly sought after for his experience, perspective and expertise in National Security issues.  He is an advisor to several US Government departments and agencies, and is member of the board of directors of Mutual of Omaha, Exelon, and The Babcock and Wilcox Company.

CHARLY SHUGG — Mr. Shugg is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Sylint Group, a cyber-security and digital data forensic analysis firm comprised of experts previously from National Intelligence Agencies, Department of Defense, and global companies. Sylint provides expert guidance and assistance in establishing and implementing a long-term strategic cyber security vision for global and small clients in financial, manufacturing, power, and healthcare industries, as well as various government entities.  

ROBERT B. STEPHAN — Mr. Stephan is Executive Vice President of CRA, Inc. an Alexandria, Virginia-based homeland security consulting firm. Previously, Mr. Stephan served as the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for Infrastructure Protection, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, from 2005 to 2008. In this capacity he was responsible for the Department's efforts to conduct risk-based assessments of our national critical infrastructure, develop the National Infrastructure Protection Plan and coordinate risk-based strategies and protective measures to secure our infrastructures from terrorist attack, as well as enable their timely restoration in the aftermath of natural disasters and other emergencies.
